Located near the historic center of the city of Cienfuegos is the Palacio Azul, part of the Encanto hotels. It was built between 1920 and 1921 as the private mansion of a tobacco baron, and was used for many purposes over time until 2004, when it became the beautiful hotel it is today. Despite its reconstruction, you can still see colonial-style tiles, high-pitched ceilings and a Mughal-style dome; undeniable examples of its ecclesiastical architecture.It has seven rooms named after flowers: Marilope, Azucena and Mariposa are on the first floor and Orquídea, Verbena, Margarita and Dalia occupy the second floor with a beautiful view of the bay. For your comfort, each one has air conditioning, satellite TV, refrigerator, standard safe, comfortable beds with feather pillows and a bathroom with a bathtub and shower. In addition, the hotel has a bar in the lobby and a small restaurant that offers Creole food with a continental menu.The Palacio Azul is located very close to the Jagua Bay boardwalk, the city's main square and the Club Náutico boulevard; a recreational center with a bar, billiards, restaurant and discotheque.
